Kiss of Delay

All at once, I was free. The grace held in the hands of time is a precious gift that mustn’t be squandered. I remember shouting to the heavens for all my wishes to be expedited. It is with great awe I perceive my past naivety. Trampled and defeated would’ve been an inevitable fate had I got what I wished for then. The kiss of delay is truly an elusive angel.
