Remember Me
You are grand. A soul that takes up space. And you deserve every inch of it. Spotlight that is solely yours. Do you hear the applause, darling? There’s only a you and the universe. How could you not believe that both are in your favor? Endless devotion to seeing you realize that you had everything you needed and the illusion is simply that. But aren’t you a dream?
It all feels so real. How could you not be hopelessly involved? Feel every failure, avoid every fall. It’s true. As much as this life may be a dream, there simply are no repeats. Just now. Present. The gift of experiencing fleeting eternity or the curse of looping damnation. The choice is yours. A crucial, yet necessary choice.
There’s nothing small about you. You and I both know that. But why is it that we find ourselves erasing the grooves and crevices of our nature to fit the mold that we swore away from?
I’ll be waiting to hold your hand when you reveal your palm. Until then, I’ll be the ache in your soul that posits the “what ifs” and impresses the remembrance of fallen dreams.
